Discovering a whole new reason to love Browns Hotel wasn’t how it started. I’d arranged to meet somebody to discuss plans for future Girl Thursday event collaborations. Forty – yes, forty – minutes later I was still on my own, patiently waiting. In fairness, I had by this time had a phone call saying that the chap in question was around the corner. Our concierge members in search of something fabulous to do at the weekend are often urged to try it – armed with knowledge from GT of pit-stops they’ll love. Mayfair is particularly suited to ambling, with beautiful mews which are tucked behind the hustle and bustle of its main streets. And handily, they are also home to some smashing restaurants.
